The reason is in Job & & it says Satan was in the presence of God. Satan being sinful it is kinda confusing. Answer. The Bible does not say that God cannot be in the presence of sin. He himself is holy (1 Peter ). He does not sin. His glory is so great that I suspect it would be difficult, if not impossible, to sin in his presence.

All sin is an assault against our holy God, whether it is done in public or in secret. And God, who beholds even the innermost secrets of the heart, sees our sin clearly, no matter how well we think we have covered it. 2. Dec 07,  · Since the Holy Spirit resides in every believer, and admitting that every believer will sin from time to time, or may even be living in a stronghold of sin, God can be in the presence of sin, no doubt about it. If He's living in us I'm more than sure He sees us sinning, He's there when we do. The crux is, you mentioned Habakkuk, but that was OT.
