This generous five-disc set collects mostly original recordings of '60 hits, including songs by Elvis Presley, Sly & the Family Stone, the Righteous Brothers, and Tom truesmasherdilkreeredshade.xyzinfo that it spans so many different kinds of '60s sounds, including girl group pop, folk-rock, British Invasion hits, and psychedelic pop, the collection doesn't always offer the smoothest listening experience.

Anyone seeking 60s classics look no further. There were some key solo singers around but basically it was all about groups and this is an incredible collection of tracks on 6 cds. I picked it up for just over £6. I have the whole collection of Rhino British Invasion always seen as the best but this set has much more and sounds brilliant.5/5(6).

If you're into the '60s Girl Groups you'll love this CD! While some of the songs are catchy '60s pop style, there are others that have an edge (like "Tommy") or just make you wanna fall in love ("I Have a Boyfriend" and "That's How it All Began"). The girls' voices compliment each other very well and after hearing the CD I wondered why I hadn't /5(14).
